We were thrilled to be featured yesterday on HGTV’s Design Happens blog! This wonderful blog shares DIY projects, party ideas, unique home decor products, and colorful inspiration for those with green thumbs, a crafty nature, a painters touch, or even an ambitious beginner. The blog feature “Party Themes Inspired by DIY Wedding Trends” by Sarah Herron, Programming Coordinator for HGTV.com, showcases some of our detailed design ideas that you can incorporate into your home decor and entertaining. You can read the full post and browse the HGTV blog by clicking on the photo below.
We would also like to share a few of the photos that were included in the HGTV Design Happens post…and we’ve tossed in a few extras for fun! This first set is from one of our May 2011 weddings that was also recently featured in the May/June 2012 Bridal Guide Magazine where we used a mix of props, containers, and flowers to give a mismatched vintage feel. To see more from this event, you can click on the photos below to link to the full album on our Facebook page (give us a page “like” too while you’re there!)
And here are a few photos from an anniversary styled shoot that was also featured on Southern Weddings Blog. We used some flea market finds with a mix of flowers, brooches, cotton, and silk ribbon. Again, you can click on the photos to view more!
