Urban Glitz

We’re sharing a fabulous wedding with you today. It’s a bit of a throwback! This Whimsical Gatherings wedding was the very first wedding held at The Standard in downtown Knoxville back in 2012, prior to renovations being 100% completed. The urban atmosphere of the venue combined with this bride’s unique style, made for an amazing celebration. From the Diane von Furstenburg dress enhanced by Colleen at White Orchid Bridal to the food by Holly’s Eventful Dining, everything was flawlessly planned and coordinated by Alison Events and photographed by John Black Photography. We were honored to create the floral arrangements for this couple. We loved the long tables and surprising pops of color, texture, and pattern. The bride, Laura, who also runs Mockingbird Events, knew how to incorporate the most unexpected details on her special day.
