A Classic Cherokee Wedding

What an impeccable wedding! It was an absolute joy to work with such a talented group of professionals at Cherokee Country Club again. The Whimsical Gatherings team worked tirelessly to get every refined detail of this event perfect with our dear friend Jennifer Laraia who created the design concept with the bride, sourced the 20 foot trees, and styled the entry and cocktail hour lounge. Nothing went overlooked for this couple! We were onsite day one to place dozens of candles and make way for installation of the ballroom framing trees. Then day two had Colby on a ladder placing white blooms into the trees, Carrie tying garlands onto the bride & groom chairs, and Leah inserting fresh lavender into our floral designs and making sure everything was executed as planned. As you will see below, The Happy Envelope created a beautiful invitation suite & custom map for the couple, Bangs and Blush came to enhance an already beautiful bride, Magpies Bakery delivered an elegant cake, Ogle Entertainment and Light Design added patterned uplighting to the room, and Campbell Tent & Party Rentals installed the fabric entrance draping. Coordinating escort & place cards by Kalligraphia and hand-lettered signage by Paperfinger were used to enhance the look as well. The A-Town A-List got everyone on the dance floor after dinner and decadent favors from French Broad Chocolates were in hand as guests left that evening (can you believe we forgot to grab one!)

This magical wedding, and the results of everyone’s hard work, was captured by Dan & Natalie Watson of Watson Studios. The guests also had fun during the night in a photo booth from The Photo Blaster and Milestone Pictures saved it all on film (watch the highlight video here)!
